Account Manager (DACH)

This is a permanent, full time position based in the New England area.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing and developing the portfolio of defined accounts in the defined area to achieve systematic profitable growth and meet commercial objectives.

You will be the lead for the value sell, quotation and closure for the reagents business within your defined area.

Role Requirements

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for all accounts and local resellers that require our products to OEM their products.
  • Implement agreed Sales Strategy to reach the agreed financial, profit and strategic goals.
  • Submit a monthly report providing updates KPI’s information and client status.
  • Ensure all KPI’s are achieved monthly.
  • Attend weekly Sales Meetings and interact with other departments as required.
  • Provide timely forecasts of customer requirements into the S&OP plan through the CRM system and other methods as required.
  • Work with marketing team and product management to implement develop and targeted campaign.
  • Identify and execute new business plans to expand the OEM manufacturing portfolio.
  • Implement and drive to implementation the annual price increases from our Commercial Operations Team.
  • Support the Customer Service team to ensure any enquires, complaints and orders are processed quickly with minimal delay to the customer.
  • Ensure the companies CRM is updated within 24 hours of any customer interaction and the forecasting is updated to mirror the customers intended ordering pattern

The ideal candidate for this position will have sales experience in technical/manufacturing/life sciences environment or similar. We are seeking someone who has demonstrated success in acquiring new business with a high close rate.
